Dun Goin Steady, affectionately known as “Tex,” is a Multi-World Champion, proven sire, and grandsire of numerous AQHA, ABRA, IBHA, and NSBA World and Reserve World Champions, and futurity winners. In 2024, he earned his Lifetime Achievement Award with ABRA and was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

His pedigree features some of the industry’s most influential bloodlines, including Dynamic Deluxe, Rocked And Steady, Zippo Pine Bar, and Snipper Reed—making him an ideal Western Pleasure, Ranch Horse, and All-Around sire.

Tex earned ABRA World Champion titles in Junior Western Pleasure under the guidance of Stephen Stephens of Riverside Ranch, TX. In his ABRA World debut, he accumulated an impressive 17 points in a single day—a preview of the greatness to come.

​

Since then, Tex has continued to perform and produce, passing on his exceptional movement, temperament, and presence. His offspring have earned multiple World Titles AQHA, ABRA, IBHA, and APHA, NSBA Champions, ROMs, Futurity wins, and national honors, including Washington State Horse of the Year (2012) and President’s Cup Champion (2013).
